div 1 vs Loganholme

Hopefully lesson learnt, you cant just turn up and expect to win. We found ourselves 1 nil down in 5 minutes showing a lack of urgency. Distribution was ordinary, overhitting balls for the frontmen who received close attention from a committed loganholme backline. Eventually got on level terms from a well taken corner from Kristi New and a great header from the eventual man of the match Mauricio Arena. Unfortunately, another defensive lapse saw us going in at half time 2-1 down. After a few home truths, a more committed spirit came out scoring the equaliser within 2 minutes again by Mauricio Arena. As should always be the case, good sides finish strongly and our second half performance was no exception. We created enough chances to win two games missing an open goal with last play of the game. Congratulation to all the squad for a committed second half which had all our supporters on their feet cheering. Final score 2 each.
