U11 Div 1 V Lions 14 June

The old addage that this was a game of two halves has never rang so true!

In the first half the boys had Lions pinned in their own half and struggling to survive. We just needed to improve the final pass to get a break through goal.

In the second half, we actually wondered whether all our players had sleeping powder in their half time drinks! The boys lost all their fight and watched Lions walk away 2-0 victors.

To say it was frustrating to watch is an understatement! It seemed that our players just assumed that Lions would win and weren't going to argue.

So, we're back to square one and it will be interesting to see if they can return to confident playing for the Centenary game.
