U11 Div 1 v Colleges 28 June

Colleges this weekend and although we beat them 8-0 last time we played them, we were expecting stiffer competition from them since they were coming off an upset win against Ipswich Knights.

Unlike last time however, where they held us to 1-0 till the second half, our best came in the first half. The first came after 2 minutes from a tap-in header by Locky off a well served corner by Corey, the second from a brilliant lunging strike by Zach after a keeper bungle, the third from a rare left foot strike accross the front of the keeper by Jordan and finally a brilliant finish by Lukas from a trademark Jordan cross.

After a reorganization in the second half which saw our hardworking Keeper (AKA Jordy the Keeper) take to the outfield, our goal rate slowed but it still saw the first goals of the season from both Brandon and Owen - both well deserved.

So in the end it was 6-0 and now we look forward to our catch up game against the Knights.
