What a Game

From go to wo it never stopped we flew out the blocks and created chance after chance but failed to capitalise until Jacqui Paige from a freekick wide left put it straight in. Peninsular received a penalty Rheanna got a hand to it but couldnt stop it. h.t. 1-1
2nd half was the same and duly went ahead with a great strike from Paige Hope her first of a 2nd half hattrick.
We went to sleep for a while and let them in 2-2. we finally woke up and Paige got her 2nd. 3-2. Again we let them in a long range effort that went over the Rheannas head, 3-3. A very healthy crowd was getting very vocal behind the Spirit players who were camped in the Peninsular half, we went ahead again when Blaire Hope finished in here 1st start this season. The pressure continued and Paige completed her hattrick.
Anzac (western) Spirit was alive and well at Kippen Park.
A big pat on the back for the girls who played with niggling injuries.
The games dont get any easier, Uni at home next sat 4.30 pm.
