At last the Premiership begins, not played for 3 wks. the ladies are raring to go. A tough fixture at Newmarket and so it was, Ben and i emphasised we should start at a high tempo, and the ladies responded creating many chances but no finish h.t. 0-0. 2nd half same as the 1st but were rewarded early with a pen. for hand ball which was despatched by Gio if not better than Ronaldo?
But as usual within 2min.they had equalised. The game really opened up then end to end a barrage of corners at both ends either team could have won it but tonight it was our turn with Amanda reacting first to turn in a Gio corner.
The ref. congratulated both teams on a great game.
