In the end it was a 1-1 draw but we had a majority of the possession and was only kept out by some resolute defending from pine hills. The major problem at this point is the fact that we have too many players! After a frustrating nil all first half, goals from Michelle and Jess finished a good day. The most under-worked player on the field was our keeper! This should have been at 5 or 6 nil in the end but the girls couldn't get their shots on target. At best guess we had about 17 shots on goal and finally scored from an excellent curling free kick by Kirra. So at the end of Grading we have ended up with 3 wins and 1 loss. After going down to the same team in a practice match a few weeks ago, they were able to turn it around and beat them by 3-2. Scorers were Annalise 2 and Kirra 1. Considering nearly half the team have never played before, including Annalise, they have done incredibly well with only 1 loss in the 3 grading games so far.
